“Since many are marking their country’s “birthday” in the US today, we wanted to ask: How do you celebrate yours? Are you all for a big bash, or more of a low-key birthday boy/girl?”

Since when I started not to feel like “yay!” when invited to a party? I’m kind shy and introvert, sorry, I’m still not sure the difference between them, so I’ve never been so enthusiastic about parties. And I’m completely allergic to having a party at home to invite others. I just don’t want to think about that. Just having a memorial for my mom, it entails sort of a reunion party with relatives too, and drinking which my father and I hate, could be a headache for me. I’d just like to have a nice meal, or tea and sweet maybe, with my family or close friends.

I’m with you on the small party with people you are close to. I have thrown several very large ones Im not sure at the end if it was worth it.
Thanks.
For some parties we need to hold, I’m too often hoping it ends just fast. 😀
