“What is your favorite sweet thing to eat? Bread pudding? Chocolate chip oatmeal cookies? A smooth and creamy piece of cheesecake? Tell us all about the anticipation and delight of eating your favorite dessert. Not into sweets? Tell us all about your weakness for that certain salty snack.”
Oh, are you tempting me to eat some more cookies or chocolate? It’ already past 9 o’clock in the evening here. So unfortunate! Or maybe it’s fortunate.
Sure I love sweets. But I’m kind of picky. We have so many companies and pastries in the industry in Japan, you know. Google “Japanese sweets”, “Japanese cakes”, or “Japanese convenience store”, I’m positively sure your mouth will water. When you wander into a department store’s food section with showcases full of beautiful and tempting cakes and desserts, it’s too difficult to get out of it without ending up with a huge hole in your wallet. And, of course, it might cause a serious trouble to your slim body, too.
Well, I can’t name my queen of the sweets. It would be a crime to just choose one! I also love salty snacks. Our Calbee is great! Or maybe another criminal. 😀

I’m always going back and forth between sweets and salty snacks!

Love the concept of cake being another criminal! (true! especially to the wallet as you say!). Thanks for the pointer to check out Japanese pastries. I found some delicious images of a round cake where the gooey fruity filling is inside. Hope one day to try this beautiful delicacy!
Haha. Yeah, spring is a time for beautiful cakes, too. But it is also a time for us to lose some weight to get around. It’s kind of agonizing. 😀
nodding in agreement!! 😉
