As a kid, were you happy or anxious about going back to school? Now that you’re older, how has your attitude toward the end of the summer evolved?
———–
Even though I was categorized as sort of a good student in my teachers’ mind, or even when I had no particular trouble at school, I sometimes, or maybe often, or even always, hated going to school. We all had those mixed feelings with our schools, didn’t we? Haven’t you felt that feeling on Sundays as the holiday was coming to an end?
The longer holidays mean the longer sickness. Our public schools’ summer recess in many areas in Japan, except colleges, are from late July to the end of August. I often started feeling blue in the late August. 😛
