Daily Prompt: Off the Shelf

http://dailypost.wordpress.com/dp_prompt/off-the-shelf/

Take a look at your bookcase. If you had enough free time, which book would be the first one you’d like to reread? Why?

————–

I’m currently re-reading Narnia books. I restarted reading books in English less than five years ago after many years. I still have so many to read and re-read, but up until quite lately I haven’t thought of any re-reading from the books I read within those less than five years, including Narnia.

I’m now reading them for the upcoming online course on Lewis & Tolkien at Mythgard Institute. Doesn’t it sound interesting?

The required reading includes several titles I haven’t read, so I feel like freaking out a bit. But I also felt I really need to re-read Narnia. In the past few days, today included, I finished “The Lion” and “Prince Caspian”. Well, I’m one of those who insist on reading the series in publication order.

I’m already starting to think I need to thank Mythgard and Dr. Corey Olsen for urging me to start re-reading them just by giving this course there.

I shall go on a voyage of the Dawn Treader tomorrow, or maybe in the bed tonight?, so I need to say good-night to you now. 😉
