“You’re at the beach with some friends and/or family, enjoying the sun, nibbling on some watermelon. All of a sudden, within seconds, the weather shifts and hale starts descending form the sky. Write a post about what happens next.”
Well, I have done many sudden shifts for the past several years, actually. I have become a person who can’t make plans.
I was a kind of student who made a perfect studying plan to pass the college entrance exam almost every week, or even every day, and started making a new one again even before I did anything. And every time I got all the more worried.
So, as I’m sure I wrote about this before, after I started learning English again several years ago, I tried not to make any plans. Just started it by very small steps. Well, that worked for me for sure. Now I’m enjoying most of the things I wanted to do in English, like reading fantasy. I acted on inspirations. Or impulse? Exactly the sudden shifts! When I thought I found something interesting or what I wanted to do, I just jumped on it. Even starting to learn English again, and read books in English again was a sudden shift.
And every accomplishment tempts me to do another. Something very interesting always has many friends equally or more tempting. 😀 Just like the book reading list always expanding!
