Daily Prompt: Papa Loves…

“What sort of music was played in your house when you were growing up? What effect, (if any) did it have on your musical tastes? “

Japanese Enka! Haha. That’s my father’s favorite. Like Hideo Murata.

And what effect on me? Well, I always liked the lyrics of Enka. They are rich in older Japanese. At least those Enka songs in the past were. It was like learning the classical literature.

And just a bit for your information, I read somewhere Hideo Nomo’s first name Hideo was named after Hideo Murata because his father was a great fan of Murata.
